Description: We are very excited to announce that Mary King will be coming to give firstly a Masterclass to 2 selected riders from Senior Camp (camp attendees only), followed by a talk to members and their families. This is for ALL CVFHPC MEMBERS & FAMILIIES, not just those attending Senior Camp.
Mary King is a six‑time Olympian and one of the most successful event riders in British history. Over a career spanning more than four decades, she won:
Two Olympic team silver medals (2004, 2012) and one team bronze (2008)
World team gold medals in 1994 and 2010
Multiple European team golds, plus individual medals
Badminton Horse Trials victories in 1992 and 2000, and Burghley in 1996
She is celebrated for her determination, longevity, and ability to produce top‑level horses from scratch. In 2026, she retired at age 64 after an extraordinary career, saying she had “thoroughly enjoyed” her eventing life.
Mary is also mother to Emily King, Emily was born in 1996 and grew up in Devon, immersed in eventing from the start. She quickly proved she wasn’t just “Mary King’s daughter” — she was a serious competitor with her own talent and ambition.
There will also be a BBQ & Paid Bar - Cash or Card
TIckets are FREE to all CVFHPC members & £25 each for family members. Please book tickets for your child if they are a member so we have an idea on numbers - there will be no charge for these. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK TICKETS IF YOUR CHILD IS ATTENDING SENIOR CAMP - they will have been accounted for. This is on the Social Night at Senior Camp. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND WITHOUT A TICKET SO PLEASE BOOK ASAP TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!
THIS IS FOR CVFHPC MEMBERS & FAMILIES ONLY!
